2 seriously injured in a boat explosion off the North Shore

Two people were seriously injured in a boat explosion off the North Shore over the weekend.
Police say a boat was traveling from Sunken Meadow State Park to Stony Brook Marina Saturday night.
Police say the driver of the boats wife and another passenger were rushed to a hospital with serious injuries,. Another passenger was treated for minor injuries, while the driver and one passenger were not injured.
The cause of the explosion is unknown.
